The UTG the M87 SOS shotgun is exactly the same as the SA and LA models only with the addition of the six position LE style M4 stock. The combination stock and contoured pistol grip really helps in maneuvering and quickly aiming the shotgun. It also gives you extra support and leverage which makes racking the pump action almost effortless.
The balance and feel of this gun is fantastic. Operation is super smooth and cocking effort is low. For being such a compact gun it has amazing long range performance and packs a huge punch at .6J! Gun is capable of Slam Firing, however, it is not recommended. UTG put as many RIS rails on this gun as they could fit! There is one long rail along the top and a shorter one on each side of the receiver. Add a red dot sight, flashlight and laser to this monster and you have the shotgun from hell. The SOS has the addition of a fourth rail right above the pistol grip which is great for mounting a reflex sight to.
One thing that is unique to this shotgun is its adjustable hop up system. Similar to the BAX system on the A-15 Evolution. This, however, is true adjustable hop up. It is very responsive and can easily be adjusted by moving the adjustment slider cleverly concealed in the mock bolt. This allows you to use .12g, .2g or .25g BBs.
